Onur Cobanli explains:
Inspiration tends to arrive suddenly and unexpectedly, which makes it important to act quickly. Taking immediate action or at least recording the idea promptly helps ensure the insight is captured clearly. Prompt action increases the likelihood of successfully turning a spontaneous thought into something tangible. When you immediately got the inspiration it is then the best time to act on it or at least document it. Speed and documentation ensure creative ideas survive and flourish.
